This fall 2019 we will have another walking relax week! A perfect opportunity to enjoy fall, the beautiful nature when Algarve is at its most beautiful and of course the relaxing stay at The White House B&B. This walking-relaxing week starts on Wednesday October, 23rd. The walks are on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. On Monday, October 28th, everyone will return home (or you can stay a few days extra …). There are various flights available that are very affordable during this period.
The walks have a moderate-light profile and everyone with a reasonable walking condition can join. The walks mainly run along paved roads and narrow goat paths and there are occasional short stretches over rocks, where some step security is desired. The walks last about 3 hours. After the walks we enjoy the packed lunches together, after which we return to The White House for a relaxing afternoon and evening. Of course the walks will be different than last year.
The guide during these walks is again Luís Gonçalves, a born Portuguese from this area with a wealth of knowledge about local flora and fauna, the landscape and sustainability. He speaks very good English and he is a very nice guy! Through the eyes of Luis you see nature in a different way and you learn a lot about the Mediterranean landscape and the native animals.
